Wednesday Night Classes – 7:30pm

In the chapel, the ministers will preach through the book of Genesis. Pastor Wood will be teaching a class in the banquet hall on the book of Revelation.


Sunday School Prayer Clinic – 9:30am

Boost your prayer power! Enrich your prayer life through brief lessons and a time of prayer in the Loft through the month of January. 

College Classes – starts January 16 and 18 6:45 and 8:00pm

The new semester begins on Tuesday, January 16th. Several courses are offered this semester.  Dr. William Gray kicks off the first night with a course on the book of Acts.  Dr. Dana Coleman will help you get your family affairs in order in the course called, “Family Life.”  On Thursdays, Dr. Wood teaches a course called, “What is the Bible?” followed by certified counselor Joyce King who will cover the topic of Pastoral Care and Counseling. If you don’t have time to commit to ten weeks of courses, you can attend the Saturday seminar taught by Dr. Mark Roberson, titled, “Discovering God’s Will.” All courses award 3 credit hours for degree-seeking students. Bible Institute students may attend at a reduced price. Men’s Ministry Fellowship Meeting – Saturday, January 27, 9:00am

The men will begin the study of Dr. Tony Evan’s book “No More Excuses”.  This will be a BYOB (Bring your own breakfast) meeting. Please begin reading the book so you can join in the discussion.  All men and their sons are welcome.  If you have any  friends that want to participate please invite them to come.  If you have any questions please feel free to call Minister Joe Tate or Mr. A.J. Turner. Meet in the banquet hall.

Fitness Session – January 27, 9:00am

Don’t forget the exercise classes that are held every 2nd and 4th Saturdays in the Loft.


Ladies Dinner Fundraiser – Sunday, January 28, following 10:30am service

Annual Business Meeting – Wednesday, January 31, 6:45pm

A review of the church finances will be shared in the annual meeting.  Pastor Wood discusses what we have achieved this past year and what we plan for the future.  All members may vote on issues brought to the table.

Empact Ministries Inc.- 2018 Winter Haven Homeless Stand Down, January 27, 2018

This annual event provides comprehensive support to the homeless veterans in the DC Metro area. Donations to include but not limited to  (coats, socks, boots etc.), medical support, food and housing. Super Bowl Sunday – February 4, 5:00pm

Join us for a time of fellowship in the banquet hall. Everyone is asked to bring and share party food: chicken, chips & dip, pizza, wings! There will be games, activities, and fun for the whole family.

Health and Wellness Ministry

Want to get fit? Everyone is welcome to attend the Saturday morning workout session every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month! Meet in the loft for an hour of exercise! April Ford leads the session. On Monday nights, October 16th, November 6th, and December 4th attend the health and wellness information sessions in the loft. Mark your calendar!


Firm Foundation Class – 9:30am – 10:15am

July marks the beginning of the Discipleship section of the Firm Foundation class. Feel free to join in! Carol Cofield and Lillian Crayton will be sharing much information that will help you as you continue on your Christian journey. Class runs through August. Meet in the college room.

Youth Ministry Class, Wednesdays, 7:30pm

Pastor Dana Coleman will be teaching the teen class in a 12 week study called, “The Power of a Praying Teen?” If you know a teen, ages 12-18, invite them to attend this life changing teaching series. Help our young people get grounded in the Word of God instead of the word on the street!

Ladies Midweek Prayer Meeting and Bible Study—Tuesdays, 10:30am

Join the ladies in the chapel for prayer and Bible Study weekly, under the director of Lydia Gonzalez.

Nursery Staff Needed

If you are age 15 and up, we have an opportunity for you! If you love little children and would like to earn some extra money, see Nursery Director April Cave today for an application. Nursery is open on Sundays and Wednesdays during service and also for special services.

Welcome Desk Volunteers Wanted

If you can smile, greet visitors and be willing to provide information about our church, we need you twice a month (10:30 service) to work at our information booth in the foyer. Contact fpulliam1@verizon.net for questions or additional information.

Food Pantry—First and Third Thursdays, Noon-2:00pm

Help us refresh our food pantry as we reach out in service to the community. Dry goods and canned goods are always needed, especially items with protein, like peanut butter, canned meats and fish.


Soup and Salad Bible Study—Thursdays, 10am—noon

Are you off for the summer? Join our Soup and Salad fellowship group every week in the banquet hall for Bible Study and fellowship! Stay for lunch too!
