Get Involved

Calvary Gospel Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. We encourage everyone to have both a fellowship and ministry.

If you join a ministry, you’ll often find it to be a great source of fellowship, too. For fellowship, consider coming to Sunday School, joining the Men or Ladies groups, or attending Brunch and Bible on Thursday mornings.

Here are some of our most urgent ministry needs, where you could get plugged in right away.

Children’s Church needs Praise and Worship Leader.

If God has gifted you with this talent, please consider serving Him. New  volunteers are also needed!  If you can serve once a month, contact Julie Coleman: jlc.coleman@gmail.com or 240-299-1223.

Little Lambs needs workers only one Sunday a month.

The Little Lambs team is looking for caring individuals to work one Sunday a month with the preK and kindergarten children.  If you are interested in joining this important ministry please contact:  Dee Humphrey Glantz or Samira Ford: dolores.humphrey1@verizon.net  or sammy9cat@aol.com  or meet them in person in the multipurpose room on Sunday mornings.
