Dr. Timothy R. Wood

Timothy Wood began to preach at the age of ten. Throughout his teenage years he preached in local churches around the Baltimore, Maryland region. At the age of 16 he moved to Cleveland, Tennessee to study Bible at Lee University. A year later he was licensed to preach with the Church of God denomination. He continued his schooling at the University of North Alabama where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Education. He pursued his education with Logos College, Jacksonville, Florida where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. He earned his Doctorate degree in Christian Education from Faith Theological Seminary in Tampa, Florida. He has served as Evangelist, Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, Christian Education Director, Elementary School Principal, High School Teacher, and College Professor of Biblical Studies. Presently, he is serving in Waldorf, Maryland as Senior Pastor of Calvary Gospel Church and Academic Dean of Calvary Christian College. His is married to the lovely Tara and has four children.
