The Family Life Center is conveniently located in the heart of Waldorf on Route 228, approximately 1 mile west of the Route 301/5/228 intersection.

The Family Life Center is a State-of-the-Art facility, which features a 300 seating capacity banquet room, along with a full size commercial kitchen.

Your out-of-town guests have easy access to local hotels, restaurants, and area shopping. Our staff will assist you in making your event a memorable one.

Banquet Hall

Our center has been elegantly designed with the express purpose of offering our guests an attractive comfortable place to entertain their guests at an affordable price.

Enter the building via your private covered entryway into the granite-tiled foyer, which is embellished with a beautiful 4-foot chandelier. Beyond the foyer you will find the luxuriously carpeted banquet hall. Nine ceiling fans work to keep the air-conditioned room's air in constant circulation. The windows are professionally dressed with exquisitely designed fabric treatments to match the floral carpet pattern. The 6 foot round tables can be arranged to your preference. Dishes and table clothes are provided by the caterer or renters.

Private restrooms, coat closets, and drinking fountains are conveniently located next to the foyer.

The tables/chairs will be set up to your layout plans. You may decorate according to your own style and preferences. 2008 Price: $1,500 with a $100 non-refundable deposit. A discount is available to active, financially supporting Calvary Gospel Members.

Sanctuary

2008 Sanctuary Rental Fee: $1000 with a non-refundable $200 deposit. Fee includes 2 hours for wedding rehearsal and 3 hours for the wedding with your own minister. One of our pastors may be available for the service for an additional fee of $300. A discount is available to active, financially supporting Calvary Gospel Members.

Commercial Kitchen

Our kitchen is professionally designed for versatility in food preparation. From gourmet meals to pizza and hot dogs, you will find our appliances adaptable in accommodating your needs.

Our appliances include an eight-burner gas stove with 2 convection ovens, a 3 foot grill, two pizza ovens, 2 french-fry cookers, warming trays, salad bar tables and warming ovens. The kitchen also houses a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, in addition to a free-standing refrigerator. Fountain drinks are available for a small fee.

Catering is available from one of our recommended food service providers. You also have the option of selecting your own caterer or cooking yourself. The caterer has the choice of cooking on -site or simply staging the meal in the kitchen.

Gymnasium Rental

The university-size gymnasium may be rented for an hourly or full day fee. Retractable bleachers, scoreboards, up to 10 basketball goals, divider curtain and locker room use are included. The gym is a great place for sporting events, concerts, tournaments, craft shows and any number of special activities which require a large space. 2008 Price: $100 per hour

Restrictions

The use of alcoholic beverages is limited to one champagne/wine toast. Any other use of alcoholic beverages is forbidden.

The Family Life Center is a smoke-free building. If your guests smoke please direct them outdoors.
